Bandera (Sigillum S, SSHE RETINA STIMULANTS, The Sodality, Ensemble Sacré Garçons, etc.) and Devis Granziera (Teatro Satanico, Lunus, etc), released on CD by Silentes on the day of their birthday.
“...we were both born on the fifth of March, even if in different years... after having been friends for a long time, we started discussing a possible collaboration in late 2024 and Devis came up with the intriguing idea of playing around references to other people which were also born on March 5… a mythological and symbolic exercise in sound alchemy and time dissection. So, we selected the appropriate icons, and then started a special kind of dance, merging our own sensibilities and histories with the peculiar aura of each Birthday Twin... something like a Sigillic Theater of Satanic Relatives...” A unique work, dealing with memories and legacies from Ennio Flaiano, Rosa Luxemburg, Giambattista Tiepolo, Zhou Enlai, Letizia Battaglia, Filippo Panseca and Pier Paolo Pasolini... a mystic elegy for kindred souls and psychic partners. |
